SIAM has undertaken several initiatives for Road
Safety education of students, drivers and the public at large.
Through the Road Safety Awareness Programmes we not only apprised
all the communities on traffic rules but also tried to inculcate
a correct and responsible attitude towards themselves and fellow
road users.
School Children have been identified as an
important channel for inculcating Road Safety habits and thereby
make an immediate impact on reducing road accidents. School children
are taken to manufacturing facilities to make them aware of their
role in influencing a change in driving and road safety habits
in adults. These plant visits includes interactive sessions which
enabled them appreciate, the need for road safety.
